Schematic converter

Convert a schematic to the format you need. Open the source, choose an output format and supported version, then download a new copy.

How to use it

  1. 01

    Open the source

Choose a schematic and check its detected format, dimensions and Minecraft version.

  2. 02

    Choose the output

Open the conversion panel and choose a target format. Where available, select the version your game needs.

  3. 03

    Save and test

Download the result and check blocks, orientation and block entities in a backed-up world.

Litematic to schem, or schem to litematic

Litematica uses .litematic; modern WorldEdit commonly uses .schem. The converter reads the structure and writes the chosen format. Renaming the file extension does not convert it. Legacy .schematic files also need their own parser.

Java, Bedrock and modded blocks

Supported .mcstructure files can be converted to other structure formats, but Java and Bedrock use different block states and entity data. Changing a format does not install mods or make every source block available in the destination game.

Keep the source when changing versions

The file format and Minecraft version are separate choices. Older versions may need block mappings or replacements for newer blocks. Check containers, command blocks and other block entities; a successful conversion does not guarantee identical behaviour in every game.

Common questions

Can I convert a litematic file to schem?

Yes. Open a supported .litematic file, select WorldEdit and an appropriate schematic version in the conversion panel, then download the .schem result.

How do I convert several files at once?

Use the batch converter to add mixed-format files or a ZIP archive, choose one output format, and download results individually or as a ZIP.
